Why online assessments need a different AI workflow
Online assessments are often visual. The task may be split between a prompt, a diagram, starter code, a table, and hidden or visible test results. Copying only one paragraph into a chatbot drops the surrounding evidence and increases the chance of a confident but irrelevant response.
Assessment Assistant treats screenshots and prompt text as first-class question context. A candidate can keep several images attached to one question, add a short instruction, analyze the combined context, and return later without mixing it with the next task.

How the screenshot workflow works
Start a new assessment question, then capture the relevant region of the screen or upload one or more images. Crop tightly enough that the prompt is readable and remove unrelated windows or personal information. Add text when the screenshot alone does not explain what you want reviewed.
For coding assessments, select the programming language and keep the prompt, screenshots, and response under the same question. If the answer needs revision after a new test result appears, attach the new screenshot to that question rather than creating an unrelated conversation.
What to test before a timed assessment
A timed test is the wrong place to discover that a screenshot is unreadable or that the desktop shortcut is not configured. Run a permitted sample task first. Confirm that capture works, that text remains legible after upload, that the correct programming language is selected, and that you know how to create and switch between questions.
Keep a fallback path as well. The workspace accepts uploaded images and pasted prompt text, so a capture issue does not have to end the session. Clear inputs and a small number of relevant screenshots generally produce better analysis than a full-screen image containing unrelated content.
Use Assessment Assistant only when permitted
